I had a birthday a couple of weeks ago. I don't pay much attention to them these days, but as birthday's go...it was very nice. Cards, calls, presents and dinner out with a couple of my kids. I was thinking more about my mother-in-law's birthday three days before mine. She turned 96. Now THAT puts things in perspective! Nana may not hear or see very well these days, and she may be a little wobbly without her walker; but she's still as sharp as a tack. She's amazing. She enjoyed those few days around her birthday going out to lunch and dinner with her family...including Jenna and I. Nana never changes...she's always been strong, loving....and 'young-at-heart.' She's truly an inspiration to all of us.
Here's Nana doing Facetime with Olive on Jen's IPad....she's amazed at what technology can do these days. Aren't we all? Have a good week everyone. ~Joy xo
