Oh my gosh no! Makes my knees weak just looking at the photos!

No thanks! If I ever looked down, it would be all over for me. I do agree, those helmets look pretty ridiculous in that situation. Flying in a small plane, I really like, but not this.

Winston

It's obvious that the helmets are to protect their noggins against small pebbles and large boulders crashing down on them.Actually, most likely because of state cycle helmet laws.

I have done some insane things in my life (none lately) but there is not enough money on god's green earth to get me on a bike on that path. I might walk it. Well, maybe crawl...

Nancy

Joy,

Someone could offer me a Million Dollars to take this bicycle ride and I would turn them down flat.

I even get a bit queasy when I look at the new glass walkway they have put out over the side of the Grand Canyon.

I once went on the "Cliff Walk" along the ocean in Newport, R.I. and I did not enjoy it one bit. My husband is very nonchalant about heights so he kept getting what I considered to be too close to the edge. It was scary.

To tell the truth, I'd be happier in the Sahara Desert.

June

Not me!!!

Hi Joy! My stomach churns viewing the pics. You have a way of making your blog interesting. Do have a good weekend. LOL.

kenju

No Way!! I would love to know where that is, though.

Peter

Not this little black duck Joy.

Nancy

Joy,

I looked up the photographer, Victor Lucas, and I found these pictures.

They were taken in Ireland.

We'll have to ask Grannymar if she knows where these mountains are.

She might let us know.

I am and always have been a wimp. I have some daredevil kids, however, who might think this looks fun. I had heart attacks when my teenage sons went up on our roof to put up the Christmas lights. They know not to tell me about their adventures.

Nuh uh! NOT A CHANCE! If I was up there, I'd be keeping Winston company on my hands and knees, and I'd be the one closest to the inside curves of the path.

The most daring thing I've ever done was to parasail, and that was a blast, but I'll never ride the parachute ride at Six Flags again. That moment when they open the clip, and all of a suddent there's no support beneath you......never again.

At first glance I think the pictures might be from the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare in the South west of Ireland. I have never come across anything like that in Northern Ireland.

Grannymar

Right I checked again. It is the Burren area of Co Clare http://www.moytura.com/burren.htm
and on from there you reach the Cliffs of Moher. enjoy!

And if you decide to visit Ireland, dress in layers. We sometimes have all four seasons in one day

Ohmygosh ... NEVER!
Reminds me of the trip I took down into the Grand Canyon where the guide assured us we didn't need to feel embarrassed looking away from the chasm as we traveled down the winding dirt path because the MULES we were riding shut THEIR eyes too! Sheesh ... the things people do for fun!

Maya's Granny

Your title with these pictures made me laugh and laugh. I would no more do this than I would flap my arms and fly. Not a matter of will but of ability.

Peggy

Oooh! No thanks. I can barely LOOK at the photographs. Heights are my big fear (well falling from heights more precisely).

Ronni Bennett

I can't even look at the photos - no way I'd even walk in that place. Oy, terrifying.

Roberta S

And my mom told me not to run down the hallway with a pencil in one hand!!

Troy Worman

Whoa! That's just plain silly. Nuts even! Where is the 'Vertigoers Beware' sign? Blaahhh!
