Oh my. My daughter never got close to Santa. He is a scary looking creature to little ones.
Merry Christmas, Joy. I know you will have a wonderful day. I'm here in Virginia with my kids and Ella.

No wonder he's called 'Saint' Nick. That's a lot of unhappy kids.
I wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas.

Joy,
As a rule, hysterical children would not be very funny, but these kids are so much fun to look at
because they are SUPPOSED to be having a wonderful time with Santa Claus.
They will spend the rest of their lives laughing at their pictures.
They will be family treasures....

Who knows what's in those beards?
I have a pic of my terrified granddaughter in the clutches of a giant Easter Bunny. She seems to have recovered from the trauma.

Joy--'Tis a wonderful series of photos you've presented your blog friends. Thanks. I do recall the Christmas of 1941 when "Santa" dropped into our little, country home. It scared the bejabbers out of me - and I bawled much as the wee ones in your photos are doing. How was I to know it was (as he was known in our little burg) Old Joe Eisenhower? Poor guy. He didn't mean to be scary - and his beard was the real thing!

The "Joy" of Christmas is a bit hard to find in some of those pics Joy.
Have a great Christmas and New Year.
