Celebrating Some Lovely Ladies in My Life....

I just came back from a little visit at Denise's house.  She's my co-worker and boss on BlogHer. com, the Women's Network. It's so great to have her so close by....only 15 minutes away.  She use to live in Florida until this past June.  Now she'll freeze her patooties off like the rest of us midwesterners....sorry sweetie.  But Denise is more than my boss....she's a great friend and all around wonderful person.  I got a chance to meet two of her three children during this visit....Chris, her son; and Michelle, one of her daughters.  I still have to meet Jennifer.  These two kids are great....much like their mother.  Very laid back and mellow souls and so easy to like.  They are just adorable.  They had been in town since Thursday to celebrate their mom's birthday, which by the way is tomorrow, October 7th.....and made the few goodies that I had for her right on time.  Happy Birthday sweet Denise.  Thank you for being so wonderful to work with and for always being there for me.  I honestly don't know what I'd do without you....I don't even want to think of trying.

  I'm also sending my love to my two daughters, Jory and Julie....funny enough...ALSO on October 7th....who will be celebrating their wedding anniversaries....kind of a cool thing for twins.  No it wasn't planned that way....it just happened.  They were married six years apart.  Julie in 2000 and Jory in 2006.  Both weddings were very different, but both so very beautiful in their own way.  The girls were Maids of Honor for each other and they spoke so wonderfully at each other's wedding that it made their day even more special.  I still have so many great memories of both of those days.  Happy Anniversary to Julie & Chris and Jory & Jesse....I love you so much!!    ~ Mom xo 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have a couple of other ladies I want to say Happy Birthday to... my good friend Donna is celebrating her birthday today.  We've been friends for many years...since our kids were very small. She's just a beautiful person...inside and out. Happy Birthday Donna. And also to Terry who's birthday is October 8th.  Terry worked with me at Discovery Education and United Learning for several years.....she's just the best.  Happy Birthday Terry......Cheers to you both....lots of love. ~ Joy
