LOL - I love #4 and #1!
When SIL was in college he ran out of cheap candy, so he started handing out toast.
I sure alcohol was involved in his decision.

My favourites are 9 and 6 ;)

So, what's it like to be kissed by a vampire?

It's a pain in the neck!!!!!

We don't usually have any trick or treaters, so Hallowe'en is pretty quiet around my house. And, that's just fine with me.

Love these! (And you know how much I love Halloween.) I do so miss trick-or-treaters coming to my little house in Atlanta. Ah, well. Happy Halloween, Joy!

Maya's Granny

I've lived in this apartment for 12 years and never had a single trick or treater. Gave up buying candy for them years ago. Just as well, getting up and down a lot would make my back ache.

Like Nancy and Maya's Granny, I haven't had "Trick or Treaters" come to my door since I moved to this neighborhood in 1980. I missed them greatly at first because my "Ex" and I used to decorate the exterior of our starter house throughout the 70s, play spooky music, and wear costumes ourselves to pass out candy. My best memory of those years was the little boy dressed as a ghost who walked up the path to our door shouting, "You can't scare me!" over and over like a mantra, but ran like the dickens back to his dad on the sidewalk when we opened the door. Nowadays, my Weight Watcher self feels relieved to forgo having candy around as a temptation. Thanks for the memories and the laughs Joy.

What do you get when you cross a vampire with a snowman?

Frostbite!

Great! Love the 'Trick or ...' one!

I don't do Halloween but it'll soon by Guy Fawkes night (5th November) and lots of fireworks.

You say,"trick or treat, smell my feet give me something good to eat." And I say,"Take off your shoes and I will."
