Chicago Area Weather Report
Beautiful day, here in the Chicago area today, the sun hints at an appearance, but the fluffy clouds keep it at bay. The air is still (not a hint of wind anywhere) and humid with the possibility of rain...nothing yet. It's warm, but pleasantly so.
" The day looks good, from either side of the window......"
That's something Milt Rebmann at Milt's Muse would say....and did, every day he would post his daily weather report out of Idaho Falls. It's been a long time since we've heard from Milt; and now with his blog out of commission, there's no way of knowing what our old friend is feeling and how he is doing in his fight against cancer.
We know he is having a setback with pain and depression, and we know it has been a very difficult one.
Milt, if you've been reading the messages that we have been leaving on your blog before it was shut down then you know how very much we miss you and are thinking of you. Honestly, that's really all you need to know from our end of it. We send you our love and support....always.
Thank you so much Joy. Beautifully written and I hope he reads it.

Ah, lovely, Joy. I wish so much we could find a way to know what has happened with Milt.

I do not know or know of Milt, but will hold him in my thoughts for a special moment. Elegant tribute...
When you quoted "The air is still (not a hint of wind anywhere)...", I thought you could not possibly be talking about Chicago, The Windy City. Every visit I've ever had there I experienced constant strong winds off the lake.
I really like his phrase "The day looks good, from either side of the window..."

Joy,
It's always sad to lose touch with friends -especially if you know they are having problems. I wish you could hear something from Milt.
I have found that friends we meet online can be among our dearest ones!

Very well done, Joy. And here's hoping that somehow, somewhere, Milt knows we're all thinking of him.
